Newly Completed Project
The main goal of this Kitchen transformation was to expand the working space and create a more open connection to the adjacent Dining and Family Rooms. Low dividing walls and a built-in desk were removed to eliminate visual barriers and improve flow.
The island was enlarged and rotated 90 degrees, significantly increasing storage space and creating a wider preparation area that enhanced overall functionality. The prep sink was relocated next to the refrigerator, creating an efficient two-cook workspace.
Custom cabinetry was thoughtfully stacked yet intentionally stopped short of the ceiling to preserve and open, airy feel. A beautifully detailed countertop and matching backsplash were installed along the perimeter, while dramatic waterfall ends were added to the island for a refined focal point.
Finally, new appliances from Kitchenaid completed the space, blending performance with timeless design.

By removing the bathtub, the room was reimagined with a spacious shower as the focal point. Natural materials were selected to create an inviting space that blends with the exterior landscape of this hilltop home. Light fixtures were positioned closer to the ceiling to enhance the room’s vertical scale, and a soffit was introduced over the shower to visually ground the space while improving heat retention.
